Progard TL1 and Progard TL2 sanitizing pretreatment packs are designed to automate the sanitization process for the company's Elix® and RiOs water purification systems. The packs expand the line of current Progard TL pretreatment packs as an additional pretreatment and maintenance option. The enhanced packs expedite the reverse osmosis (RO) cartridge cleaning process. The new pretreatment packs are easy to use and eliminate the need to handle chemicals with a built-in sanitization agent. The agent dissolves upon the consumables' installation to clean the RO cartridge located downstream of the Progard pack. The cleaning agent then automatically exits the system via the drain. As a result, the sanitization pretreatment pack ensures convenient and proper RO maintenance during each regular pack replacement. In addition, the water purification system returns to production mode with no intervention upon the completion of the cleaning process. The automatic sanitization option is available within the Progard TL1 and TL2 pretreatment packs used with the Elix 20/35/70/100 systems and the RiOs 30/50/100/150/200 systems.
