The Milliflex Rapid Microbiology Detection System and AutoSpray Station is an automated solution for the rapid detection, response, and resolution of microbial contamination in manufacturing processes. Suitable for a range of pharmaceutical applications, the detection system improves process control, product yield and the timely release of products. Based on Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) bioluminescence technology, the system delivers test results in approximately 1/4 the time of traditional microbial contamination detection methods, such as membrane filtration (MF) and pour plates. With its capacity to detect and count viable microorganisms down to one colony forming unit (CFU), the system delivers reproducible results that correlate with traditional methods. To further ensure reliability, the detection system uses pre-sterilized, disposable Milliflex filter units for sample preparation. Easy to operate and validate, the Milliflex Rapid system is 21 CFR Part 11 compliance ready.
