The R110XIIIIPlus RFID smart label printer/encoder unit combines smart label encoding and verification with thermal/thermal-transfer printing. The printer/encoder is compliant with Electronic Product Code (EPC) ultra-high frequency (UHF) Class 0 and 0+ standards that are emerging for use in retail and governmental supply chain operations. The unit encodes case- and pallet-level information on very thin, UHF transponders embedded in pressure-sensitive smart labels, and simultaneously verifies that the encoding is accurate. In addition, the printer is upgradeable to support future RFID EPC specifications. The unit also prints text, bar codes and/or graphics on the surface of labels at a resolution of 203 dpi. Labels up to 4.5 inches wide and 39 inches long can be dispensed at speeds up to 10 inches per second. The printer/encoder is built on heavy-gauge steel to ensure operational dependability in industrial settings.
