Kirby Lester, LLC, a provider of automated tablet counting systems, has named Bradley Stewart to the new position of Director of Research & Development. Stewart, with more than 15 years of healthcare product development and manufacturing experience, will play a key role in the company’s research & development and manufacturing efforts.

He will work closely with Dave Schultz, Chief Technology Officer, and Steve Burke, Chief Operating Officer, to efficiently manage the company’s manufacturing production operations. Stewart will be the primary liaison with Plexus Corp., which Kirby Lester announced on Sept. 15, 2008 as the company’s primary contract manufacturer. He also will play an instrumental role in the integration of Kirby Lester technology and new product development for the company.

Schultz noted, “Brad’s production experience takes our R&D to the next level. We are bringing incredible new technology to the market, and we need strong industry experts like Brad to steer our new products from the engineering lab to pharmacy dispensing stations.”
