Health giant Johnson & Johnson is recalling another consumer product.
This time, it is 1 Day Acuvue contact lenses sold in Japan and several other countries in Asia and Europe.
The company, based in New Brunswick, N.J., says it's received a limited number of consumer complaints from Japan. Some customers have reported an unusual stinging or pain when inserting the Acuvue TruEye Brand contact lenses.
Johnson & Johnson says it's unlikely the lenses would cause any long-term health consequences.
The lenses were manufactured in Ireland.
Johnson & Johnson has issued eight recalls of nonprescription medicines in the U.S. since last September, including children's Tylenol and other pain relievers and cold medicines for children and adults.
