The RS Portable Rheometer can operate in the lab, on the production floor (115 or 230 volts) or in the field (with a rechargeable battery). The unit comes with a heavy duty lab stand. It also has a convenient handle for easily moving the instrument whenever necessary. The rugged design is ideal for use by multiple operators. The unit is a dynamic, rotational rheometer capable of viscosity, yield stress and creep measurements. It offers both controlled stress (when used with optional Rheo3000 Software) and controlled rate test modes (in stand-alone or under PC control with Rheo3000 software). A Cone/Plate Accessory is an available option for the RS Portable, allowing the instrument to measure small sample volumes while extending range capability for shear rate and viscosity.
