Sterilizing Filters Designed For High-throughput Applications Where Control Of Mycoplasma Is A Concern

Fluorodyne® EX Grade EDT filters are new, hybrid PES/PVDF membrane sterilizing filters for high-throughput applications where control of mycoplasma is a concern. The membrane incorporates machV technology for high particle retention, Ultipleat® folds for enhanced surface area and narrow core architecture for increased speed. The 0.1 µm sterilizing layer is rated greater than 10 log reduction of Acholeplasma laidlawii when challenged at 10e7 CFU per mL. The laser-marked barcode simplifies data capture, and the product is available in sheet, cartridge and capsule formats. High throughput and high mycoplasma reduction offers safety and economy for biomanufacturing.
