The
company offers a choice of STyLUX® PES or SteriLUX® PVDF 25 millimeter syringe
filters for lab and R&D applications. The syringe filters are ideal for
scale-up evaluation of Meissner’s membrane filters to capsules, cartridge
filters, UltraCap® and UltraCap® H.D. high capacity capsule filters, as they
are manufactured with the same materials of construction. The 25 millimeter
syringe filters are offered in sterile and non-sterile versions with absolute
retention ratings of 0.2 μm and 0.4 μm. Pore sizes are color-coded and stamped
on each filter for easy reference. Syringe filters may be ordered sterile,
which are individually blister-packed; or non-sterile, which are bulk-packed.
They are ideal for product development studies, preliminary filterability testing,
determination of product compatibility, and small volume liquid sterilization.
All materials are bio-safe in compliance with USP Class VI Plastics biological
reactivity tests. They are non-cytotoxic and non-pyrogenic.
