Filter-Dryer Agitator for Efficient Drying

The advanced design of this filter-dryer agitator helps you achieve efficient cake drying during your filtration and separation processes. The core of good agitated nutsche filter dryer (ANFD) performance relies heavily on the agitator design. This agitator has been refined over a 22 year period to provide very robust performance under a variety of conditions. This is achieved by a series of sharp curved blades with spaces at different centers of each arm. When moving and lifting the cake product between the gaps within the filter dryer agitator the product moves at a lower velocity and is subsequently swept by the second arm of the blade, achieving efficient mixing by differential velocities. The curved agitator blades also achieve penetration into difficult cakes without undue product stress. The agitators are always fabricated in one piece with the shaft welded to the arms which removes any direct leak path of heat transfer fluid through a bolted joint between the shaft and arms. The company offers a full range of sizes and specifications to meet all requirements, from chemical development to bulk production. The agitated nutsche filter dryers provide the total reliability needed in the pharmaceutical industry.
