The FOWS is not just a dual machine, but an innovative multipurpose, flexible system capable of operating in different modes and offering the most cost-effective solution where both cleaning and/or sterilization processes are needed. It is able to wash, decontaminate, sterilize, and dry various types of loads in one simple process, or it can be used for any single sub-process as needed. Also, it uses the features of a sterilizer for improved washing and drying performances not available in a conventional washer. Finally, it allows the user to save floor space as well as money when it comes to installation, validation, operation, and maintenance. It is controlled by the same Thema4 process controller that is found in all of the company’s machines, so it integrates perfectly with any Thema4 existing network.
