Auto-Dry is a freeze drying optimization package that generates a baseline protocol based upon user input of product information. Once the baseline protocol is established, the freeze dryer automatically adjusts the shelf temperature to minimize the freeze drying time while keeping the product below its critical temperature. It automatically detects the end of primary drying and advances to secondary drying. Either a conservative or an aggressive profile can be chosen to optimize the cycle. To further enhance the process, a melting monitoring subsystem is available. It comes standard with batch summary reporting and one year of free software upgrades as more features become available.
