Custom Polypropylene Tanks

TerraPro™ is an innovative line of polypropylene tanks designed to meet the needs of today’s pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical companies for safe, reliable containment of hot liquids — up to 200° F — for water for injection (WFI) applications and heat-sanitized ultrapure water systems. The tanks are configured to meet specific customer requirements and ensure quick set up and ease of use. They are currently available in 125- and 250-gallon capacities (both models sized to fit through standard doorways). They meet FDA and cGMP standards and are USP Class VI compliant. Standard fittings, including sanitary fittings to BPE specifications, are employed to minimize installation issues. Molding the tanks from polypropylene — without stainless steel — enables the company to reduce tank costs and total cost of ownership for custom pure water systems and applications. Lead times for manufacturing can also be shortened.  Furthermore, the translucent polypropylene allows end users to easily gauge water levels without a separate external sight glass. The company offers a number of accessories for the tank line, including multiple stand options and seismic restraint systems.  The restraint systems can be supplied with dry-stamp or wet-stamp calculations as required by location and local regulations. An insulating blanket is also available to reduce heat loss and protect personnel from high-temperature contact.
