Lightweight PAPR with Panoramic Hood

The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health has approved the Sentinel XT as a loose-fitting powered air purifying respirator (PAPR) (TC-21C-0901). It is approved with the latest version of the Sentinel Clear, a panoramic clear hood that is ideally suited for the demanding requirements of pharmaceutical and biolab customers. The hood delivers a 320-degree field of view which improves worker safety and productivity. It also features retention clips that securely attach to the operator’s protective suit or cloth uniform. The system incorporates the most advanced technologies available, including a brushless long-life motor, a lightweight lithium polymer battery capable of delivering 12 hours of operation on a single charge and easy decon features. The lightweight integrated blower/battery weighs only 2.2 pounds and incorporates a state-of-the-art battery life indicator gauge. The PAPR can be worn with a customer-driven ergonomic back harness or a comfort belt, depending on the user work profile.
