From raw material selection to polishing and packaging, all of the company’s truly sanitary tubing is manufactured with surface finish consistency and outstanding corrosion resistance. Starting with the finest stainless steel materials made exclusively to the company’s proprietary melt criteria for maximum weldability, all truly sanitary tubing is manufactured to ASTM A270-S2 specifications directly off the mills. The polishing technologies significantly reduce tearing and pitting on the contact surfaces to minimize contamination and improve cleanability. Weld seam integrity is ensured through laser and TIG full-finishing welding processes. The tubing is available in 20 μ-in Ra (0.5 μm) inner diameter (ID) maximum and 30 μ-in Ra (0.8 μm) outer diameter (OD) maximum surface finishes. OD sizes range from ½ inch (12.7 mm) to 8 inches (203.2 mm) with in-stock 20-foot (6.1 m) lengths for immediate shipment.
