The L-Series Hi-Shear In-Line Mixer for emulsions, dispersions, and fine suspensions provides continuous, homogenous output down to 1 micron and eliminates the need for tanks. Featuring a mixing head with from 1 to 12 shear-action zones, consisting of high-speed rotors and stators which can produce shear rates of 200,000 per second each, this modular design facilitates scale-up from lab to production requirements. Capable of handling samples from batches as small as 85 ml, the unit is available with two mixing head sizes, depending upon the residence time necessary. Constructed from 316L stainless steel, it is USDA-, FDA- and 3A-compliant.
