Remote Process Actuation and Control System Offers DIN Rail-Mount Assembly

The AirLINE Type 8644 remote process actuation and control system offers ON/OFF pneumatic functions, analog and digital input/output modules, and Fieldbus connectivity in a single, DIN rail-mount assembly. By deploying AirLINE, it's possible to "gang" all of the pneumatics and I/O together under one node address. This opens up communications capabilities for non-Fieldbus hardware, cuts cabling costs, and reduces multiple node addresses to save system space. AirLINE supports virtually any process field device - pneumatic or electronic. Supported Fieldbus interfaces include PROFIBUS DP/FMS, DeviceNet, ControlNet, INTERBUS, CANopen, Ethernet, Ethernet TCP/IP, MODBUS and LONWORKS. Unit utilizes the company’s 10 mm and 16 mm pilot valves (3/2 and 5/2 circuit functions). These valves flow up to 700 l/minute at pressures to 100 psi and incorporate the company’s “Rocker” technology. This technology enables fast response times, high-pressure capability, low power consumption and high cycle life.
