The Spin Flow® Granulation System is configured as a top spray fluid bed granulator/dryer system. The fluidization pattern developed by the Spin Flow® design provides improved granulation properties, including a narrower particle size distribution and the elimination of fines and oversized granules. The denser more spherical granules produced by the Spin Flow® system are excellent substrates for coating, allow higher tablet press speeds and in many cases eliminate the need for secondary sizing (milling) steps. The Spin Flow® design prevents material from sifting through to the lower plenum of the fluid bed, provides improved cleanability and can be easily retrofit to existing Glatt fluid bed processors.
