HORIBA Instruments, Inc. has purchased all assets of Beta Scientific and provides HORIBA with all rights to the SA-9600 line of Surface Area Analyzers previously developed and sold by Beta Scientific. The technology, based on the flowing gas technique, is very complimentary to other products marketed by the HORIBA Scientific Segment. The SA-9600 line of analyzers features the fastest and most accurate method of measuring low surface area samples. Surface area measurements are essential when powder is part of the product or process, such as the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry and is a great compliment to HORIBA Instrument’s other offerings to the general market. The SA-9600 line can meet all requirements of the pharmaceutical industry and has full compatibility with 21 CFR Part 11. Surface Area further improves a HORIBA line-up already featuring Particle Size, Particle Shape and Zeta Potential. HORIBA continues to add valuable technologies to better serve the growing marketplace.
