Checkweigher Designed To Operate In Multi-Shift Environments

The LCW series features heavier-duty construction that provides greater reliability and run time in more arduous, 24/7 plant conditions where line speeds of 300 to 400 packs per minute are typical. The PC-based user interface is capable of monitoring up to six separate production lines simultaneously. This is done by providing multiple lane transport systems and employing up to six separate load cells to weigh the different products simultaneously. The new line relies on industry standard components, as well as Allen Bradley programmable logic controls. Variables such as belt speed, product weight parameters and reject timing can be accessed by pressing the corresponding graphic on the display panel. The line includes a complete range of application driven systems handling target weights of 5 grams (0.2 ounces) all the way to 45 Kilograms (99 pounds), as well as a “drag link” version which is used in a more rugged environment requiring washdown capability and NEMA 4 certification.
