The DATATRACE® III Micropack III is less than an inch long without a probe. Used in a variety of situations including freezing, chilling, pasteurization and sterilization to help ensure product quality and stability, the Micropack III Tracer delivers precise measurements over a wide temperature range from -20°C (-4°F) to 140°C (284°F) to within +/- 0.1°C (+/- 0.2°F). The unit requires virtually no training to use or retrieve data, and just seconds to program using a PC and simple software. The system employs the familiar intuitive, menu-driven software of other DATATRACE Tracers and provides for automatic downloads and graphs as well as quick navigation. Combined with the system's FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliant software, users are assured of faster, more secure data handling, while meeting FDA standards for password protected access, electronic signatures and automatic documentation for audit trails.
