Method for Cyanide Analysis Shortens Time to Two Minutes

The Flow Solution IV performs the USEPA-approved Method OIA-1677, a distillation-less method for cyanide analysis. Using gas diffusion flow injection analysis with ligand-exchange technology and amperometric detection, the Method OIA-1677 eliminates several distillation steps. Analysis time is shortened to only two minutes for available cyanide results. The Flow Solution IV can perform segmented flow analysis and flow injection analysis. The method eliminates the need for reagents such as pyridine and barbituric acid.
