Stepper Motor Controller

Unit controls the motorized microscope stage, joystick, focus motor, filter wheels and shutters, all from within a PC. Installed directly into a personal computer, the unit saves valuable workspace by eliminating the need for a controller box. The PCI (Peripheral Component Interconnect) incorporates a 32 bit BUS that communicates at speeds of 133 MBps yielding a communication response time of less than 250 nanoseconds. The PCI is capable of 0.01 micron step size for X, Y and 0.002 micron step size for Z movement. The card is designed with a 32 bit DLL (Dynamic Link Library) which is compatible with the company's existing products, including the ProScan and OptiScan motorized stages.
