Herding Filter
allows powder coatings to adhere properly to surfaces
Herding Filters are made with absolutely no silicone and are textile free. The filters are an integral component to vacuum conveyors, because they prevent dust and fine particles from being drawn into the vacuum pump and escaping into the surroundings. The residual powder that falls off of the surface is automatically reclaimed by the vacuum conveyor. Filters comply with FDA, GMP, and 3-A requirements. The filters are recommended for powders with a particle size of .5 micron and greater, depending on powder properties. The sintered polyethylene body is coated with PTFE to enhance product release from the filter.
