Remote Monitoring Unit

compact enclosure

The Messenger XL-70 Remote Monitoring Unit features a remote monitor, a communications engine, and a status reporter in a compact enclosure. The wireless telecommunication technologies can be used for a variety of purposes in tank inventory applications. The units provide broad communication capabilities, including data, voice and fax modes to simplify access to information via phone, PC, pager or printer. I/O options include four general-purpose inputs that are user-defined and may be expanded to 32 inputs. Two controllable outputs provide programmable alarm and control setpoints. The Messenger XL-70 can continuously track the performance at multiple remote sites over a period of time, record a minimum of 10,000, time/date-stamped events, and then transfer that data for use in scheduling inventory deliveries, inventory and delivery validation, and reconciliation in the user's preferred format.
