Updated PDI systems have eliminated the use of inefficient and unreliable fiber optics greatly expanding the measurement range and allowing for fully automated set-up. Components include an optical system using solid-state lasers, an Advanced Signal Analyzer (ASA) signal processing system and Automated Instrument Management System (AIMS). The PDI systems are available in a variety of configurations – modular 1-D, 2-D and 3-D and self-contained 1-D, 2-D and 3-D.
