Line of Excipients Formulated To Improve Solid, Semi-Solid and Liquid Dosage Forms

The Aerosil® line of pharmaceutical excipients features four fumed silica products for adding stability, thickness, anti-caking and other properties to solid, semi-solid and liquid dosage forms. The Aerosil line includes the new Aerosil 200 VV Pharma, the Aerosil 200 Pharma, Aerosil 300 and Aerosil 380. In tablets and capsules, the chemically inert, hydrophilic excipients offer improved powder flow and compaction. In suppositories and transdermals, the high purity excipients promote and maintain uniform distribution of active ingredients while controlling viscosity. In gels, creams and suspensions, the versatile excipients aid in particle suspension and thickening. The four products comply with USP/NF Pharmacopeia monographs.
