Pump Designed for Liquid Metering Process Development

The new 2-1 Development Unit provides process development versatility for liquid metering applications. Flow rates up to 50 ml/min can be delivered by the compact unit’s single-piston pump and easy-to-use controls. Pump can be controlled with the built-in analog control knob, the user’s analog signal, or ASCII commands via RS485/232 communications. Users can choose from the enclosed or the tethered control box 2-1 options. Sliding ceramic plates internally seal the pump’s liquid path so valves are not needed to control flow. The pump operates in forward and reverse modes, does not lose prime and is rated for pressures up to 125 psi. The built-in controller, power supply and ‘inert’ materials configuration allow the user to handle a variety of chemicals quickly and easily.
