Analytical Balance
rapid and accurate weighing
The XS Balance features the SmartGrid, a slotted weigh pan that is suspended from the back of the weigh chamber. This feature removes buoyancy effects caused by temperature differences that lead to air currents. The air flows easily through the pan without lifting it. The SmartGrid also lifts out for easy cleaning and contamination issues are reduced due to the weigh cell connection points being above the weigh pan. Any spilled sample falls directly to the fully sealed base plate, not interfering with the weighing; users simply remove the SmartGrid and wipe down the balance. In addition, easily removable draft shield panels make access to the weighing chamber easy.
