Surface Analysis System
measures and analyzes gloss levels
The Model 806H measures and analyzes the gloss levels of flat and curved surfaces regardless of their texture or color. It also measures distinctness of image (DOI) and orange peel and can determine haze index. The system measures up to 240,000 sample points per test and allows the user to view an actual measurement sample area up to 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Specific areas of the test sample can be isolated for further measurement and analysis by sizing a window cursor on the displayed image. Unit measures extreme high and low gloss levels. All gloss measurements are directly traceable to a gloss reference supplied with the system.
