The PA30 Series PAPR features nickel metal hydride batteries to give the unit 8-10 hours of steady performance, while reducing the "memory" concern that affects overall battery service life. Voltage regulation circuitry assures the user of consistent airflow (8.5 CFM) throughout the work cycle. An audible alarm to indicate low voltage offers the user an additional level of safety. The unit combines the company's hoods and loose fitting facepieces with NIOSH-approved filters and cartridges to protect against a wide range of respiratory hazards. The removable battery packs are positioned inside the profile of the blower, to eliminate any snagging and decontamination concerns. The smooth sloping surfaces and optional vinyl decon belt make it ideal for applications requiring decontamination. It is also lightweight and compact to provide for comfort and ease of use.
