Servomotor Family Optimized For Packaging Machinery

The SH Series servomotors optimize packaging machinery using the PacDrive automation system through salient pole winding technology. They are purpose built, designed specifically for the dynamic and environmental requirements of the latest generation of mechatronic packaging machine design. The new designs utilize salient pole winding technology for motors that are more compact and cost effective, smoother running, with higher power density, nearly 50% lower rotor inertia, low cogging torque, quieter operation and higher resistance to winding damage. The new winding design results in a symmetric magnetic field distribution that eliminates magnetic interference on the rotors, resulting in up to 140% longer life. Length is reduced by 30%. Windings are epoxy encapsulated for increased heat dissipation, mechanical integrity, torque production, and resistance to shock, vibration and moisture.
