Starch Excipient Is Easy On Tabletting Equipment

C*PharmMannidex DC 16702, a mannitol-based excipient, enables users to formulate tablets with higher doses of active ingredients. The excipient also has the benefits of being non-hygroscopic and chemically stable, with good flowability and high compressibility. C*PharmMannidex DC 16702, which was specifically developed for use in direct compression, is characterized by a narrow particle size distribution centered on 140 microns which assists flow and makes the weight variation of the tablets very low. Hard tablets are obtained at all compression forces without the tendency for capping or laminating. In addition, it is an ideal excipient for formulating chewable tablets, including vitamin preparation and antacid formulations. Additionally, it’s very low moisture content makes it particularly suited for use with active compounds that are sensitive to water.
