Clinical Trial Label Inspection System Reduces Need For Human Inspection
The AVIA Clinical Trial Label Inspection System is a complete hardware and software solution that inspects the variable and fixed label content of clinical trial labels up to A4 size (210 x 297 mm). The system self-learns from printed samples, PDF documents or rasterized pre-print images then compares acquired images of printed labels to source information in PDF or a variety of graphical formats. The AVIA Clinical Trial Label Inspection System is both language and print orientation independent, corrects for character drift and print warping, can perform Optical Character Recognition (OCR), Optical Character Verification (OCV) or image comparison on variable content information and supports the setting of different inspection sensitivity regions on labels. All label images are stored for post-inspection review and when the inspection process is done different reports are generated for examination by quality control or production personnel.
