Blister Printing Unit Offers Anti-Counterfeiting Features

The DTS 1200 blister printing unit can be run in-line or as a stand-alone in the printing of anti-counterfeit solutions for pharmaceutical blister packs. It offers features in anti-counterfeiting and brand protection including background information, identity code, sequential numbering, time and date stamp and special UV visible colors. It’s digital printing technology allows each pack to be printed with a randomly generated unique number, which is 100% traceable to its origin of time, date and location of packaging. This can be combined with other color, bar code, graphic and UV features to provide a safe and secure product identifiable as genuine anywhere in the global supply chain. Application highlights include 1200 dpi resolution in the range of 0.5 – 20 m/min, with up to 4 simultaneous PMS color dynamic printing of variable and real time data. It facilitates product traceability with all types of fonts, graphics, drawings, data fields, text and barcodes, including data matrix and RSS.
