College Students Can Help the Environment and Win Money for Favorite Charity
o.b.® mighty. small.™ challenge Rewards Small Team That Makes Biggest Impact in Keep America Beautiful®'s Great American Cleanup™
Skillman, NJ (March 30, 2009) -- How can a few busy, cash-strapped college students make a big difference for a great cause? As a sponsor of Keep America Beautiful's Great American Cleanup, the makers of o.b.® tampons present the o.b.® mighty. small.™ challenge to reward the small team of college students that makes the mightiest impact during the Great American Cleanup by cleaning up litter, creating gardens, recycling, and more. The winning team will earn $5800 for their favorite charity or organization and an additional $5800 for their local Keep America Beautiful affiliate.
"We believe that small things can make a big difference – whether it's switching to a non-applicator tampon like o.b.®, which generates 58 percent less waste1, or volunteering to help beautify local communities as part of Keep America Beautiful's Great American Cleanup," says o.b.® Brand Manager Elizabeth Jackson. "We're excited to support this great organization and invite others to do the same through the o.b.® mighty. small.™ challenge."
The challenge provides a great opportunity for people ages 18-24 to win money for their favorite charity, sorority, or campus organization. It's simple: One small team donates their time (along with a little elbow grease) and makes the mightiest impact, and the makers of o.b.® tampons donate the money.

1For o.b. ® regular and super absorbency tampons.
o.b.® tampons are non-applicator tampons that offer women ultimate protection and comfort. Designed small to protect big, o.b.® tampons were created by a female gynecologist to expand all around to custom-fit a woman's body perfectly and have curved grooves for locked-in protection. Thanks to their mighty small size, o.b.® tampons are more discreet and easier to carry and store than other tampons, but offer all the protection of an applicator brand.
