Dutch biotechnology company Crucell NV on Monday proposed three new nominees to its supervisory board.
The company said it is nominating William Burns, James Shannon and George Siber to its supervisory board. Shareholders will have the chance to vote on the nominations at the company's general meeting on June 4.
Crucell said Burns worked at Swiss drugmaker Roche for 23 years, and was head of its pharmaceuticals business until December. Shannon was head of global development for Novartis AG and retired from the company in 2008. Siber is a former head of Wyeth's vaccines business and advises a number of vaccine makers and programs.
The supervisory board currently has six members.
