ACM Global Central Lab Appoints General Manager of Asia Pacific

ACM Global Central Laboratory, has announced the newest member of its Clinical Trials team, Nandan Rao as the general manager, Asia Pacific located in Mumbai, India. Initially, Rao will have oversight of trials conducted with ACM Global’s partner lab in the region.  He will also be building the ACM Global infrastructure and team throughout Asia Pacific, as a result of increased demand.

Rao has had an impressive career comprised of both sales and operational responsibilities with pharmaceutical, diagnostic and services organizations. Most recently, he held the position of general manager with SRL, the largest clinical reference laboratory network in India and Southeast Asia, where he was instrumental in building the clinical trials operations. “I’ve had the pleasure of working closely with ACM Global for the past four years and witnessed their growth in India,” said Rao, “I am delighted to be spearheading their efforts in this region, which demonstrates ACM Global’s commitment to its clients.”

“Since establishing our presence in India in 2006, ACM has become a global leader in the central lab arena,” said Elena Logan, VP of Clinical Trials at ACM Global Central Lab. “Adding Nandan to our team marks a very important stage of our growth as India has become a critical market within the clinical trials industry. His expertise in building a central lab group in this region will be of significant value to our organization as we continue to expand the ACM Global wholly owned locations.”

All studies conducted by the CAP-certified lab are assured precise analytical data managed from a central location with one harmonized database.
