AmerisourceBergen Names Neu Unit President
VALLEY FORGE, Pa. (AP) — AmerisourceBergen Corp. has promoted David W. Neu to president of the pharmaceutical services company's largest unit, AmerisourceBergen Drug Corp.
Neu, 53, was most recently senior vice president of operations of the unit. The new appointment is effective immediately.
The presidency of the unit was previously held by Steven Collis. In March, AmerisourceBergen said that CEO David R. Yost will retire in July and will be succeeded by Collis, the pharmaceutical services company's executive vice president and chief operating officer.
Yost will step down on July 1, and Collis will take over on the same day, the company said.
Shares of AmerisourceBergen rose 22 cents to close at $40.57.
