AMRI Appoints New Vice President of Aseptic Services
AMRI announced today that Peter J. Hansbury, RPh will assume leadership for AMRI's aseptic fill and finish facility located in Burlington, Massachusetts as vice president of aseptic services reporting to Dr. Steven Hagen, vice president of pharmaceutical development and manufacturing.
Mr. Hansbury brings more than 30 years of technical, sales and leadership experience in sterile products for the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Most recently, he served as vice president and general manager of contract manufacturing services for Boehringer-Ingelheim - Ben Venue Laboratories, Inc. and was responsible for the overall management of Ben Venue's contract manufacturing services division. Prior to that, he held several roles of increasing responsibility during his 15 year career at Ben Venue, including director of marketing and customer operations of the Bedford Laboratories division of BenVenue Laboratories. Prior to Ben Venue, he spent eight years at LyphoMed/Fujisawa USA, Inc., in sales and operations positions culminating in the role of corporate marketing account executive. He has held additional leadership roles at The Cambridge Hospital, TPN Pharmacy, Inc., and Massachusetts General Hospital with focus on management and supervision of pharmacy services.
Mr. Hansbury earned a B.S. in Pharmacy with honors at Northeastern University, College of Pharmacy and Allied Health, located in Boston, Massachusetts. He also holds licensure as a Registered Pharmacist from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
