Non-Destructive Multi-Bottle Leak and Seal Tester

September 11, 2013 8:54 am | Product Releases | Comments

BottleScan uses force decay technology to detect weak seals and defects down to 15 microns. It has a tool-less design and can test up to 4 bottles simultaneously in a quick test cycle of approximately 60 seconds. The system produces objective ‘PASS/FAIL’ results enabling good bottles to be returned to the production line.

Sepha MediScan

August 5, 2013 12:47 pm | Service Industries, LLC | Products

The MediScan is a non destructive leak tester for pouches, sachets, and bags with flexible and non-porous materials. The MediScan uses pressure, vacuum, and precision load cells to check for leaks as small as 10 microns in pouches, sachets, and flexible bags. The MediScan does not require any product specific tooling so is ideal for R&D and clinical supplies where the unit must support many different packages. The system gives a clear, repeatable test result. It is a dry unit, unlike traditional blue dye tests. The tested packages are not destroyed, and good packages can be reused.

The BlisterScan blister package non destructive leak tester uses pressure, vacuum, and a precision laser system to check for leaks in a blister package. Like the VisionScan, the BlisterScan is a non-destructive test method that is an alternative to the blue dye destructive testers. Good packages are put back in the line, not destroyed, and the test method gives a quantifiable, objective measure of whether a package is leaking. By using a high precision laser, the BlisterScan can detect holes as small as 10 microns.

Sepha VisionScan

July 31, 2013 5:46 pm | Service Industries, LLC | Products

The VisionScan non-destructive leak tester is a new alternative to Blue Dye tests, which destroy good packages during testing. Using the latest in camera imaging technology, the VisionScan offers pharmaceutical manufactureres a flexible, reliable, objective, and cost saving alternative to destructive tests. With typical blue dye tests, all tested packages, good or bad, are destroyed. The VisionScan does not harm the blister package so good packages can be put back into the line. Blue dye tests also rely on a visual inspection by the operator so can be subjective. The VisionScan produces a quantifiable, objective result and shows you exactly which cavity has a leak.
