FDA Basics: Diane Murphy, M.D. on the FDA's Office of Pediatric Therapeutics(2)
The Food & Drug Administration's Office of Pediatric Therapeutics works will all of the Centers in the agency to ensure that products that are approved are appropriate for children. The Office Director explains that it is Congressionally mandated to help industry develop new drugs and devices specifically for children.
