Three-day serialization training and certification program to target pharma professionals.
Supply Chain Wizard (SCW), a global consulting firm specializing in serialization and traceability, will host a three-day serialization program December 6-8 at the Mövenpick Hotel City Centre in Amsterdam. The event is part of Supply Chain Wizard Academy, the Princeton, NJ-based company’s professional development and training platform.
The program is designed for pharmaceutical industry personnel focused on serialization within their organizations, and for those looking to move beyond compliance to recognize additional ROI, according to the consulting company.
For the first two days, participants will attend instructor-led classroom-style sessions addressing the myriad ways that implementing track-and-trace solutions impacts businesses — including company departments not typically associated with this impact. The program’s scope reaches beyond traditional packaging/engineering, and will include a review of serialization’s impacts on IT, supply chain/distribution, commercial/finance, artwork/labeling, and validation and qualification.
The program culminates with a site visit to a local pharmaceutical packager, who will demonstrate serialization concepts and techniques in real-time, and answer questions regarding the challenges and opportunities of implementing serialization. The fee is listed on the SCW website at €1,950 ($2,300 at €1=$1.18 exchange rate).
Supply Chain Wizard also will be hosting a separate ‘Pharma CMO Summit‘ in Amsterdam on December 4-5 at an additional fee of €190 ($224).
